Dutch painter Ella Bril takes over 12Antwerp with RED, YELLOW AND BLUE, presenting new large-scale works that explore the emotional and expressive power of colour. Moving between reality, nature and dreamlike abstraction, Bril creates imagined worlds that feel at once familiar and distant.

September 24–27
For four days, Antwerp-based artist Flo Bastiaensen takes over 12Antwerp with HYPNOTIZED BY A STRANGE DELIGHT. Moving from the human figure towards animals and nature, Flo creates a dreamlike world somewhere between kitsch, Disney and the Wild West, extending beyond painting into an experience of image, words, food and wine.

5–13 September
This September, 12Antwerp hosts an exhibition celebrating the artistic legacy of Hans Millet, aka Snobfrax, a defining presence in Antwerp’s avant-garde and underground scene. Moving across collage, assemblage, video, installation and music, his work embraces the marginal, playful and unexpected in a poetic search for humanity within an inhumane reality.

September 13
On Sunday, 13 September, 12Antwerp opens its doors for Open Monumentendag. Discover our 1907 Art Nouveau building, explore its architecture and history, and visit the Hans Millet exhibition currently on view in the gallery.

August 21-30
Following a month-long residency at 12Antwerp, Italian artist Giammarco Falcone presents THE SHADOW DANCE, an immersive installation created in direct dialogue with the gallery’s architecture. Extending beyond the canvas, the work transforms the space into a landscape of painting, reflection and shadow, inviting visitors to enter, move through and become part of the work.

April 9–12, 2026
This April, Antwerp-born artist Henry Whysall presents CABINET at 12Antwerp, offering a glimpse into his ongoing exploration of abstraction, material and form. Drawing from microscopic structures, landscapes and the built environment, his layered works reveal patterns that feel at once biological and geological, rhythmic and quietly luminous.
