Cabinet
April 9–12, 2026
This April, Henry Whysall presents Cabinet, a short exhibition exploring the layered visual language that defines his practice.
Born in Antwerp in 1977, Whysall studied architecture in Edinburgh before continuing his education in fine art at Saint Martins in London. His work evolves between abstraction and material exploration, drawing inspiration from both natural structures and the built environment.
Over the past two decades, Whysall has developed an ongoing series titled 'Fragments', a collection of image-based investigations examining patterns found in microscopic structures, landscapes, and constructed forms. His works often evoke surfaces that feel biological and geological at once, layered, rhythmic, and quietly luminous.
Cabinet offers a glimpse into this evolving visual research.
