For four days, Antwerp-based visual artist Flo Bastiaensen takes over 12Antwerp with Hypnotized by a Strange Delight.

For the first time, Flo shifts her focus from the human figure towards animals and nature, creating a dreamlike world somewhere between kitsch, Disney and the Wild West.

The exhibition extends beyond painting into a sensory experience bringing together image, words, food and wine, with contributions from writer and performer Maarten Bastiaensen, chef Dick Stockman of Takk Food, and actor, theatre maker and winemaker Bart Hollanders.
